Three years ago, I didn't have a job. My father had been diagnosed with esophageal cancer, and my nephew came down with aplastic anemia.
Today, I own my own business, my father's been cancer-free for two years, and today, my nephew was pronounced "cured."
Not that the past three years haven't been rough and rollercoaster-y, but today constitutes a definite win.
Here's hoping that the next three years straighten out more things for me, my friends, and family.
